I'm disappointed because after presenting a gift certificate my husband was told that $33.00 was left owed. When he reminded them of the certificate and that the service was free they said we would still be responsible for $13.00. I, the money conscious wife, called the following morning to clarify the situation. I was armed only with what the gift certificate stated which was; "$25 gift certificate, PLUS the ultimate spa package, (fresh bath scrub, nourish vitamin conditioner, blueberry facial scrub, bubble bath paw treatment, and fresh aromatherapy fragrance spray). I was informed by the owner that the Ultimate Spa Package did not include a bath and that a cat bath was $38.00. The $25.00 gift certificate was then applied and left a balance of $13.00. I admit it was enlightening but I still am not satisfied. I felt the owner's tone was unnecessary and I left the conversation feeling as if she applied the word stupid across my forehead. There was absolutely no understanding or remorse on her part. In fact, when I asked if she would see how it could be misleading, especially when the ticket states a bath wash and conditioner, I was quickly corrected and told that the certificate stated a bath scrub not a wash and that no one in her 5 years there had ever felt the certificate was misleading. Even after reminding her that I was a new customer who had never been there before, she still was adamant that no confusion should have come of this visit. Her only attempt of satisfying me was when she snapped that she would make sure the certificates are changed. Overall, my expectations were not met, in price, in product, and in customer service. Yes, our cat was clean, she smelled wonderful but I can have a fresh smelling cat from a number of places in town without fear of being so unjustly offended. Any suggestions??
Note~ I located a similar certificate online that includes...WITH A BATH OR GROOM ($15 VALUE)...wish that had been printed on my certificate...I probably would not have paid as much for it.
